Hello. My husband and I farm in the beautiful Maruia Valley past Murchison, but I was bought up in the Nelson Lakes District (Lake Rotoiti) so my passion for the great outdoors and country life was forged from a very early age. I have been painting on and off for about 10 years but only ventured into landscapes in 2009.

Inez began painting in 1971. Over the course of years she persisted in painting using workshops and courses for support, direction and wisdom. In the past decade Inez has moved away from subject matter alone. The passion for paint and texture using collage materials creates paintings that are spotaneous, rich and different. They identify with either manmade or natural environmental influences, invariably the West coast of the South Island or the Nelson region.
