Jo Heatherbell // Sculpture in Oamaru stoneJo is completely self taught. Around four years ago she was given a couple of blocks of Oamaru stone, and has not been able to leave it alone since. Over the years Jo has spent a great deal of time in our National Parks and has developed a real passion and respect for the birds and bush. Her challenge is to recreate the peace and serenity she sees around her. |

Michele Surcouf // SculptorAfter receiving the highest recognition in art at her High School, Surcouf went on to study art, sculpting, and photography in the US, and art history in Paris. Surcouf studied the fine art of lost-wax bronze casting at the Northern Arizona University,USA. There, Surcouf had access to the well-equipped foundry where she produced limited edition bronze series. After leaving the University, she continued bronze casting with a private foundry until her move to New Zealand in 1990. |

Paul Laird // Contemporary Ceramic Artist and SculptorLong established Paul Laird is a second generation 'potter' and ceramic artist. Many of you may recognise Paul's contemporary and often abstract sculptural ceramic works from the Craft Habitat, currently the home of his working studio and art gallery in Nelson, New Zealand. |
